The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. The violations listed below reflect the new VDOE codes and standards.
The Parent handbook, Employee handbook and Emergency Preparedness plan have been provided for review.
Licensing regulation changes effective 1/13/2022 were discussed.

An in-person inspection was conducted today. All rooms were in ration during the inspection. 4 child records, 2 staff records, emergency evacuation drills, medications, first aid supplies and menu are all in compliance.
Second floor classrooms were measured to add documentation to the case record for the modification of the license to increase capacity. The inspection will be typed off site and emailed to the facility for signatures. LI was present today from 10:29 AM - 12:45 PM.
