An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on May 16, 2024 from approximately 9:00am -12:30 pm . The inspection concluded on May 16, 2024. The children were observed eating lunch, transitioning to nap, dancing and freely playing . Five children and five staff records were reviewed.There was 23 children and 5 staff present during the inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Basedon observation, documentation and staff interview, the center did not ensure one staff member to five children from ages 16 months to 24 months.
Evidence: -During the inspection there were three staff with 19 children . The youngest child was 16 months old. - The center would need to follow the ratio for the youngest child. -The staff to child ratio for ages 16 months to 24 months should be 1 staff to 5 children. -The center needed 4 staff with 19 children to be in ratio. -Confirmed with staff in charge.
