A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on December 13, 2023 at approximately 9:40 AM to 2:50 PM. There were 71 children present with 11 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on staff record review, the provider did not ensure that staff working directly with children shall complete annually the department's health and safety update.
Evidence: At the time of inspection, the record for staff #1, staff #2, staff #8 did not have the annual health and safety update documented in the record.
