Technical Assistance:
Discussed the need to have outside fireplace inspected annually also.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 8:20 am through 9:45. There were a total of 11 children (37 points) observed with 3 caregivers. A total of 5 children's files and 2 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, educational computer games, puzzles, bottle feeding, napping, diapering and hand washing. Based on a review of children records, the family day home has not obtained proof of age within seven business days of the child's first day of attendance. Evidence: Child #1, date of attendance 11/4/19 does not have documentation of proof of age in the record.
Plan of Correction:
Provider has been asking for the documentation,the parent has not received the document.The parent has a sibling with the Provider. The provider will continue to remind the parent for the document.
