Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. A total of 79 children with 17 staff members were on site today. Five classrooms were observed, staff interviews were conducted, and observation of morning program was made. In the toddler classrooms, children were observed participating in gross motor activities and creating Valentine's Day crafts. The Pre-school 1 classroom was observed participating with staff members in Yoga. They were also observed painting, cutting, and working on individual puzzles. All medications on site were reviewed, topical ointments and authorizations, and attendance in each class were also reviewed. A total of eight children's records and five staff records were reviewed. Recordation was found organized, detailed documentation of staff training found. Previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. Based on staff record review, one out of state background check was not requested. Evidence: 1. Staff #1 documented on the sworn statement that they lived outside of Virginia in the past five years. An out of state central registry search was not requested.

We have obtained the Central Registry Form and will be sending it out today.
