Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing department on October 17, 2019 regarding supervision. The inspection was initiated on October 21, 2019 and completed on October 21, 2019. On October 21, 2019, the inspector was on site from 1:47pm to 3:51pm. Interviews with staff were completed, observations were made in the center, and documentation was reviewed.
The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, there was a violation found during the inspection regarding background checks. See the violation notice for more details. Additionally, the inspector provided consultation regarding alternative measures when children display the same behaviors.

Based on record review, the center did not ensure that one of two staff records had documentation of central registry results by the end of the 30th day of employment and every five years thereafter. Evidence: The inspector reviewed staff #2's record on 10/21/2019. The record of staff #2 (start date: 05/14/2003) had documentation of central registry results dated 12/28/2011. The center's representative provided documentation of additional central registry results to the inspector on 10/22/2019. The central registry results submitted to the inspector on 10/22/2019 were dated 10/22/2019.

See attached proof of staff #2's timely Central Registry Results. Our Pro Care Center Management System alerts us to all staff and documents needing renewal. See attached proof.
