A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today between 10:15 am and 2:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 6 children (16 points) Initially with 1 caregiver who was the substitute provider, twenty minutes later the provider arrived. The children were observed playing on the playground, hand washing, during diaper change, eating lunches brought from home, watching a video and going down for nap.
The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
