Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 02/24/2020 from 9:35 am to 12:55 pm. The children were observed reading Dr. Seuss books, engaging in letter activities, playing educational computer games with their teachers, and eating lunch. Lunch consisted of pizza with extra cheese, sweet peas, tropical fruit and milk. A formal observation was completed in the two year old and three year old rooms. Additionally, when appropriate the inspector interacted with children in each classroom. Records were reviewed for five children and five staff. Emergency medications are being administered and were reviewed. Injury reports were reviewed.
The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 01/16/2020 Last shelter-in-place drill: 12/24/2019 Last fire inspection: 06/01/2019 Last health inspection: 02/12/2020
Today's Census: 21 children were on site during the inspection.
There were no repeat violations found during today?s inspection.

Based on a review of five staff records, the center did not maintain complete staff records.
Evidence: 1. Staff #3 and #4 were missing a person to be notified in an emergency. 2. Staff #3 and #4 were missing information about any health problems that may interfere with fulfilling the job responsibilities.

Based on observation and measurement, the center did not ensure the playground equipment is provided, that the resilient surfacing comply with minimum safety standards.
Evidence: 1. A sampling of measurements proved that there was not an adequate amount of mulch in fall zone areas.
