The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 07/09/2020 and concluded on 07/13/2020. The Director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were 32 children present and 15 staff. The inspector emailed the Provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. Two staff and three children?s records were reviewed to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me.

Based on record review and staff statement, 1 of 3 children's records is incomplete. Evidence" Child #1 is missing proof of identity within 7 days of enrollment. Child enrolled 3/2/2020 and did not get verification of identity by 3/9/2020. Program was closed 3/2020-7/6/2020.
Plan of Correction:
Family located and provided birth certification.
