A subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on October 15, 2019 from approximately 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Five children were in care with two caregivers for a total of sixteen points. Caregivers and children were observed in the indoor space engaged in activities to include activities for infants, coloring, and nap time. Interviews and interactions were conducted and no medications are given. Five children?s records and two caregiver records were reviewed. The provider was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
