Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted September 19 2019 between 9:15am and 10:30am. There were 7 children observed in the direct care of 2 staff members. Children were observed working on a feelings face art project, name painting, circle time, and various stations including building, magnets, and cars. Based on direct observation, the provider did not secure written authorization to administer an emergency medication.
Evidence: Child #1 has an auto-injector medication, but there is no long term medication documentation completed by the doctor and the parent.
Plan of Correction:
Parents are picking it up today and bringing it tomorrow.

Evidence: The parent's written authorization for Child #2 expired and was not renewed after 10 working days.

Description:
Based on record review, 2 of 4 children's records reviewed did not contain all of the required information. Evidence; Child #1 and child #2 records do not contain documentation of two emergency contacts including addresses and telephone numbers.
