Twenty children were working independently, playing outdoors eating a snack. Five staff files and five children's files, previous violations and medications were reviewed. Violations: Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on the review of five staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all background checks are conducted for each employee. Evidence: 1. There are no out-of-state background checks on file for staff #2 (hired 7-23-19) and staff #4 (hired 8-15-19). Plan of Correction: The office manager will ensure that the two out-of-state background checks are conducted and will notify the licensing inspector within 10 days.
