Description:
Based on observation and staff interview, the center did not ensure that food brought from home was dated.
Evidence: 1. A total of 4 lunchboxes were observed in the Transition room and were not labeled with dates. 2. In the Prechool room, a sampling of lunch boxes were observed and also were not labeled with dates. Staff advised they were not aware of the requirement to date food items brought from home.
Plan of Correction:
Have parents put dates on lunchboxes.
