Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 between 10:20 am to 12:00 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, there were three children in care totaling 8 points with one caregiver. The family day home designated childcare areas were inspected. The providers record and three children's record were reviewed during his inspection. The family day home's designated childcare areas, required posting, and emergency supplies were inspected. :. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during .this supplemental inspection. Based on review of emergency preparedness procedures and interview with provider, the provider did not ensure to include lockdown procedures in emergency plan.
Evidence: In review of the emergency plan, there was no lockdown procedures included in the plan. Interview with provider confirmed that lockdown procedures were not included in the plan at this time.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will develop lockdown plan and update plan by 2/07/2020.
