Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:10am through 11:30am. There were a total of 5 children present (9 points) ranging in ages 2 years through 5 years with the Provider. A total of 5 children?s files, the provider's file and 3 household member?s files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: playing with blocks, coloring, reading books, and engaging in free play. Positive interactions between the provider and children were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, evacuation drills, menu, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today. No new staff have been hired since the last inspection. The provider advised she does not administer medication and there is no medication on site. The provider is current in CPR/First Aid certification. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials and toys. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov.

Evidence: The first aid kit did not include scissors, tweezers, adhesive tape, antiseptic, and two triangular bandages.
Plan of Correction:
I will go to the store today and get the missing items.
