Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on January 26, 2024. There were 6 children present, ranging in ages from 14 months to 22 months with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 6 child records and 1 new staff record were reviewed. The children were having rest time.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the facility failed to ensure during the stated hours of operation, there always shall be on the premises when one or more children are present one staff member who meets the qualifications of a program leader or program director and an immediately available staff member, volunteer or other employee who is at least 16 years of age, with direct means for communication between the two of them. Evidence: when the Licensing Inspector arrived at the center at approximately 2:00 p.m. on 1/26/2024, Staff 1 was the only person on site supervising 6 napping infants. A second staff did not arrive at the center until approximately 10 minutes later.
