Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 9:45 - 11:15 am with the provider and her assistant. There were nine children in care, ranging in age from four months to five years of age, for a total of 21 points. The children were observed participating in circle time, eating snack, and playing outside. Snack served today was graham crackers and milk. Five children's records and two provider records were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency drill log was observed and in compliance. The first aid kit, battery operated flashlight and weather band radio were observed and in compliance. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care. Description:
Based on observation, and an interview with the provider, the bathroom did not contain paper towels. Evidence: there were no paper towels in the bathroom; there was a drawer of small washcloths for drying hands.

Description:
Based on observation, and an interview with the provider, not all required handwashing procedures were followed. Evidence: after a diaper change, an infant was placed in their crib without having their hands washed with soap and water.
Plan of Correction:
Will ensure that all children's hands are washed with liquid soap and warm running water after diapering.
