Technical assistance was offered regarding completion and documentation of staff orientation.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 4/27/21. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 28 children and 14 staff present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. An initial virtual walk through of the facility was conducted to assess the space and material/equipment used by the children. The children had gone for a walk, and a second virtual inspection was conducted within one hour to assess the care of children. Medications and other center documents were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
