Today was the annual staff file review for Loudoun PRCS conducted by VDOE. A percentage of each recreation and/or community center's staff files were reviewed.
Discussion of on-site staff file reviews in regard to the internal computer system that can be accessed at each location.
Training hours will be reviewed during next inspection.
Discussion of noting lockdown training for senior staff.
Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 10 am through 4 pm. Staff files were reviewed by a representative from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Education, Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Fairfax) and through the County of Loudoun, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services? main office located in Leesburg, Virginia. Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Based on review, 3 of 15 staff files indicated that not all of the required documentation was contained within each record.
Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (06/06/2024), the following staff did not have at least two references on file: Staff #6 (0 of 2), Staff #11 (1 of 2), and Staff #12 (1of 2). 2. All listed staff were hired after March 1, 1996.
Plan of Correction:
All missing references will be obtained and placed on file.
