Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/26/2024 at 10:30am to 11:25am. There were no children in care, but 4 children enrolled. The home, 1 caregiver's record, 4 children's records, no household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on review, the provider did not ensure that they obtained updated immunization records every 6 months for children under 2 years of age. Evidence: reviewed 4 children's records and found that child 1 was under 2 years of age, and their last immunization documented in the child's file was dated 4/13/2023.
Plan of Correction:
This requirement is well explained in my policy. I reminded parents on writing and verbally. I didn't received any answer. This inspection was done during spring break when the Daycare was closed.
