A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on September 5, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. There were eight-nine children in the care of seventeen staff. Nine staff records were reviewed an updated. No medication is being administered at this time. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
Areas observed were: story-time, short movie, hand washing/bathroom and diapering procedures, lunch and nap. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.
