The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussion with the Licensed Program Manager with regards to out-of-state employees. Please review the memo sent out to all licensed facilities, dated - 06/26/2020 on the subject of 2020 Legislative Implementation. Please pay close attention to Senate Bill 668 with regards to staff who currently live out of state or who have lived out of state within the past (5) years.
Discussion was also had on the topic of the delay in the current annual inspection from the Fire Marshal's office due to the pandemic. Leniency was shown with regards to this issue. The center was encouraged to reach out again to schedule a fire inspection.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A (renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 08/14/2020. The in-charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were (18) children present with (7) staff, in (2) groups. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (3) children?s records and (3) staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were cited.
