Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A subsidy health and safety inspection was initiated on 02/03/2021 and concluded on 02/08/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 3 children present with the provider. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with subsidy regulations, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. Based on record review, not all caregivers have a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. Evidence: 1) The record for Staff #2 did not contain a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. The most recent certification was dated 10/18/2018.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will ensure that Staff #2 completes the CPR/FA training.
