The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

This Renewal inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime. There were 7 children (19pts) with 2 staff. Observation of the programming area was conducted. The space was clean and well maintained. Ample amount of programming material available organized in a manner ensured that CDC guidelines were being followed. Individual stations were established for each child that allowed for free play and exploration. Materials within reach of each child that allowed independence in selection of each activity. Children were observed playing individually with legos and blocks. Younger children in care had age appropriate equipment available to them. All staff were observed wearing masks and all children in care were practicing social distancing. 2 children's records, background checks for all staff/household members were reviewed. Records were found organized and complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
