Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 2:00 pm- 3:10 pm. There were 15 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, staff records, children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in arriving into care from buses, reading books, playing a board game and getting ready for snack and free play. Potty and hand-washing procedures were also observed and or discussed. There was a n ample supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. Evidence: The ceiling tiles in the Dragons classroom were wet and discolored from a recent rain event. There is peeling paint on the orange wall and broken lego storage box Tiny Tigers classroom.
