This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection (record review) was initiated and concluded on March 15, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector reviewed five agent records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on record review, in one of five records reviewed, the licensee did not ensure that each officer of the corporation submit to fingerprinting and obtain results.
Evidence: The designated person in charge confirmed that there was no documentation of fingerprint results for officer #4 of the corporation.
Plan of Correction:
We are going to contact the person and will make the appointment. We will make sure that this person attends the appointment to have the fingerprint background done.
