8VAC20-850-110. Health and safety checklist criteria
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 11:45 a.m. and ending 1:30 p.m. There were four children in care ages two to three years old for a total of eight points. Children were observed napping. Child care areas, supplies and materials were observed. The health and safety checklist was reviewed. Emergency supplies including a battery operated flashlight, radio and full first aid kit were available. Three children's records and one provider record was reviewed.
Noncompliance with the health and safety checklist was documented on the violation notice.

Based on review of documentation, not all criteria on the health and safety checklist was met. Evidence: Child #1, enrolled 2/14/2022, did not have documentation of liability disclosure signed by the parents.
