07/25/23 Arrived 8:20am Departed 9:25am An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were six children in care (ages 23 months-3years) with one caregiver for a total of 13 points. The children were playing with toys, watching a children's program and reviewing the alphabet. Two child records ,and two adults' records, were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation. Based on a review of records the facility failed to conduct repeat background checks every five years. Evidence: 1. The fingerprint background checks for the provider and one household member expired in March 2023.
Plan of Correction:
The provider reported that they have an appointment on 8/5/23 to renew the fingerprint background check.
