A discussion was held with the provider regarding the stairs by the front entrance. The children just enter through the front door and walk directly to the child care area. They are never unattended in the area of the stairs. Inspector suggested blocking the staircase during child care hours.

A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 10:00am to 11:00am. There were 6 children in care with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed playing with a caregiver. A total of 5 child records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards. No violations were issued.
