Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11.19.19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived around 8:30 am and departed at 11 am to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 4 children in care, totaling 9 points with 1 caregiver staff present. A sample of 4 children's records and 6 caregiver/household records were reviewed. Children were observed watching television, listening to music and playing games. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure all required components were included in the home's emergency plan. Evidence: The vendor's emergency plan did not include a reunification plan or continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency
Plan of Correction:
The following corrective action was provided by the vendor during the exit interview: The vendor will include the two new procedures into the current emergency plan.
