Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on March 6, 2023 from 11:45 am through 12:50 pm. There were two children under the supervision of the caregiver. The inspector reviewed and observed for compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Four children's records and three household member's records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on the review of three household records, the program failed to ensure that adults living in a family day home completes background checks every five years for two adults.
Evidence 1. The most recent central registry results on file for Household Members #1 and #2 were dated 1/23/2017.

Based on review of three records, the program failed to ensure that a search of the central registry was completed within 30 days of residency for one household member.
Evidence 1. Per 2021 inspection, Household member #3 has resided in the home since 5/19. There were no valid central registry results in the file.
