The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.
Guidance, resources, model forms and training links can be found on the website childcareva.com.
Consultation was given on moving back into the home and doing a visit prior to enrolling children in care.

The provider's Family Day Home is currently not enrolling any children as the home is under renovation. Reviewed the provider health record, background checks, trainings and ratios (no children in care). The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
