Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 5, 2021 and concluded on January 5, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were four (12pts) children present and one staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records, two staff records, and one household member record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on record review and interview, provider did not obtain fingerprint results for an adult household member. Evidence: 1. Household Member #1 did not have documentation of fingerprint results in the record. Caregiver #1 stated that fingerprints were not obtained for Household Member #1.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will obtain finger printing results for Household Member #1 as soon as possible and inform the inspector of it's completion.
