Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/25/2019 between 11:00am and 1:00pm. There were 86 children in direct care of 24 staff members. Children were off-site at a local playground during the inspection. The facility is clean, organized, and offers age-appropriate materials for children to utilize. Classrooms are decorated with themes that support the curriculum being worked on. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice. Based on observation, 3 of the 14 rooms inspected did not have hazardous materials in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: In room 1 and room 7, cabinets containing cleaning sprays and solutions were kept locked. In room 2 a filing cabinet contained cleaning materials was observed to be unlocked. Children were not in those rooms at the time.

I locked them during the inspection.

Description:
Based on record review, 2 of 7 staffing records reviewed did not have documentation that a central registry search was resubmitted every five years from the date of the original search.
Evidence: Staff #4 last documented Central Registry search is dated 10/20/2014. Staff #5 last documented Central Registry search is dated 9/28/2014.
