Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 8:30 am-10:30. There were a total of 54 children with 9 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in individual activities including coloring, number line, finger painting and circle time. and outdoor play time. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on a review of medications, the center is not following their procedure for administering medications Include methods to prevent use of outdated medication. Evidence: Child #1 long term medication expired 10/2019.
Plan of Correction:
The parent was called, the medication with a current date will be brought into school today.
