Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding keeping occupied cribs at least six feet apart. Submit central registry results to inspection when received.
Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on August 5, 2020 and concluded on August 6, 2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 0 children present and 1 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 1 household members record and 1 staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on review of 2 records, 2 do not have documentation of a current central registry check.
Evidence: Staff #1 and household member #1 do not have documentation of a current central registry check. Current check expired 3/20.
Plan of Correction:
We will send in new central registry checks immediately. I will send my inspector the results when they are received.
