Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on September 2, 2020 and concluded on September 2, 2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were eight children (24pts) present and three staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on record review, children's record did not contain required information.
Evidence: Child #1's record was missing the policy number for the child's medical insurance.
Plan of Correction:
Provider will obtain the policy number from the parent and document the child's record.
