Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:20 am - 12:50 pm with the provider and her assistant. There were two children in care, age four and age five, for a total of four points. The children were completing a seasonal arts and crafts project, having free play with toys and eating lunch. Lunch served today: hot dogs, bread, french fries, strawberries and milk. Two children's records and two caregiver records were reviewed. The last emergency escape drill was conducted: 2/17/2020 and the last shelter-in-place drill was conducted: 11/26/19. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care. Based on review of two caregiver records, not all caregivers had a repeat tuberculosis (TB) test/screening at least every two years from the date of the previous test/screening. Evidence: the records for caregiver #1 and caregiver #2 have a TB test/screening dated 1/15/18.
Plan of Correction:
Will obtain a TB test/screening this week.
