This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contact, documentation review, interview, and a virtual tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 7/26/21 and concluded on 7/28/21. There were no children present with the provider though three children are enrolled. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview, the provider did not ensure that caregivers who work directly with children shall obtain the department's health and safety update course by March 1, 2020 as required. Evidence: The provider stated that she has not yet completed the health and safety update course.

I will make sure to complete the training.
