8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed on 06/24/2024. The inspector was on site from approximately 9:30 am until 10:30 am. There were 9 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interview, the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs. Evidence: The attendance did not document the arrival time and departure of each child. Caregiver #1 confirmed the attendance did not have arrival and departure of each child documented.
Plan of Correction:
We are making a new form that includes what time the children arrive and depart.
