A monitoring inspection was conducted on June 24, 2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were eight children present and three staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed two children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs. Violations: Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-2 Description: Based on review, the center did not have an Office of Background Investigations (OBI) fingerprinting determination letter prior to a staff beginning employment for one of two staff records reviewed. Evidence: The record for staff #1 (start date June 11, 2020) did not have a fingerprinting determination letter of eligibility. Documentation stated orientation training was completed on June 11, 2020. Plan of Correction: I plan to receive Office of Background Investigations fingerprinting determination letter by July 13, 2020.
