Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/3/2024 from 11:30 am to 12:40 pm. There were 9 children supervised by 4 direct caregivers. The home, 4 caregiver records, 1 household member record, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed eating and engaging freely. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Please submit your plan of correction within 5 business days for it to be included on the website. Based on observation and interview, the provider did not ensure sharp kitchen utensils and other sharp objects shall be inaccessible to children unless being used by the caregiver or with children under close supervision.
Evidence: A box cutter was kept in an unlocked drawer accessible to children in care.

Evidence: A lighter was kept in an unlocked drawer accessible to children in care.
