Subsidy standards were reviewed with Provider.
Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/11/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Subsidy requirements were reviewed this date: allergy action plans, staff training, nutrition and food services, record keeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries and emergency plans. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Based on review, the vendor did not document with the daily attendance the arrival and departure times of each child in care.
Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (09/11/2019), while the Provider documented the attendance for each child in care, the arrival and departure times were not recorded. 2. The Provider was not aware of this specific requirement.
Plan of Correction:
This information shall now be documented for each child in care on a daily basis.

Description:
Based on review, 1 of 2 staff files indicated that there was not a current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (appropriate to the age of children in care).
Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (09/11/2019), the most current certification on file for Staff #2 was dated 09/09/2017. 2. This certification was valid for only a two year period.
Plan of Correction:
Staff #2 shall become certified once more.
