8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on February 28, 2032. There were five children present, with one being a household member, with one caregiver supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on interview, provider did not ensure the required training is completed annually.
Evidence: Provider stated she did not complete the department's health and safety update course for 2022.
Plan of Correction:
Provider stated she will complete the annual update training each year. The 2023 annual update training will be completed now.
