Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/29/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were (7) children present and (1) caregiver with 13 points. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (2) children?s records and (2) caregiver/household records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on interview, the provider did not obtain updated tuberculosis test or screening for each household member every two years. Evidence: 1. The provider stated she did not have an updated tuberculosis test or screening for one household member. The last test or screening was dated 3/01/2017.
Plan of Correction:
We will plan to get an appointment for the household member as soon as we are able to. Will call by June 5th to give an update on the appointment.
