Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 8:00am & 11:30am; there were 62 children with 9 staff members. Physical plant, programming, staff and children records, medications and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Based on review of 9 medications, 5 do not have an allergy action plan.
Evidence:
Children #1,2,3,4 & 5 have medications on site emergency allergic medication with no allergy action plan.
Plan of Correction:
We will have the parents complete an allergy action plan. We will not take any allergy medication without a completed allergy action plan.
