Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today beginning at 9:50am. At the time of entrance, 9 children were in care with 2 staff members present. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 2 children's records and Staff certification for CPR/First Aid and Mat training were reviewed. Ratios were in compliance. The site was clean and organized. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. The children were observed playing in centers with toys. Based on review of children's records, the center had a child's record that did not contain all required information. Evidence: 1. Child #1's file was missing both parent's work phone numbers and work addresses.
Plan of Correction:
Child #1's file will be updated with full employers address and work number.

Description:
Based on review of medications, the center did not dispose of medication when the parent did not renew the authorization or pick up after 14 days of when an authorization expired. Evidence: 1. Child A had a medication at the center and had an authorization that was signed on 9/10/2021 for the 21/22 school year. The parent did not renew the authorization or pick it up within 14 days.
Plan of Correction:
Child A form will be updated, signed and brought back to SACC. Medication will be returned until forms are updated.

Description:
Based on observation, the center did not have the most recent inspection findings posted. Evidence: 1. The inspection dated 3/31/2022 was not posted on the parent bulletin board or in the classroom.
