Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/24/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Based on review of staff records, one staff member did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. Evidence: 1. Staff #2's (employed more than 90 days) certification for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) had expired 9/2022. The documentation in the file stated that they were enrolled to take the certification on 10/27/2022.
Plan of Correction:
Staff #2 will attend training on 10/27/2022, staff file will be updated to reflect current certifications.
