A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 9/20/19 from 11:55am until 2:20pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the tour, there were 25 children in care with 4 staff present. A sample of 5 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed resting quietly during nap and participating in story time. The emergency preparedness plan, first aid and emergency supplies, documentation of emergency practice drills and children's injury reports were reviewed. The vendor stated there are currently no children in care that require medication administration. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
