A subsidy health and safety inspection was completed on November 21, 2019 from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Twenty-eight children were in care and five staff were on premises during the inspection. Staff and children were observed in classrooms engaged in activities to include nap time, free play, and snack time. Interviews and interactions were conducted and there are no children currently taking medications. Five children?s records, five staff records and one corporate officer record was reviewed. The director/owner and assistant director were available for the inspection and were present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
